Excellent seafood selection with easy/friendly workers! I get my seafood here every other week and I don't think I'll go anywhere else! It's so tasty and fresh. I'd love to sit down and eat here some day. Till then, I'll be here every other Wednesday buying SOMETHING!
Parking here is street parking, however there are plenty parking garages at walking distance. This restaurant is way part the more touristic area and at fist glance is not a place that promises much, but once you step in, things change...
We have been visiting for years now. The servers remember my favorite cocktail. The shrimp and crab chowder is to die for. There's not a bad choice on the menu. They are also a fresh seafood market. Fin fish, shellfish, cephalopods, crab cakes and seafood salads, and maybe the only place I've seen squid ink for sale on 9th Street. I can't come to Philly without a visit to Anastasi.
Loved this place!! We came for lunch on a Tuesday and it was pretty much perfect! We weren't expecting there seating inside to be as cozy and nice as it was - we kinda of thought it was just a seafood market! But the food was excellent, especially the fried smelts - which were our favorites!
